A promotional package to promote a fictional show at the V&A. The aim of the project was to explore principles of visual communication. We had to pick an artist who has been active between the years 1900 & 2000. I chose the Memphis Group because of its unconventional and groundbreaking design.
I had to create graphic pieces that represent the Group, but were distinguished from the existing ones. Inspired by some of the most iconic Memphis Group’s objects, I designed a series of colourful posters. I used a Risograph printer to create a 1980’s aesthetic, as well as to print the posters in vibrant colours. Moreover, I designed some patterns inspired by Camille Walala to create badges.
